Checking in today to share with you a new outfit, featuring this fall sweater that I can’t get enough of lately. Give me all of the sweaters for Fall!
Yesterday I dragged Harrison to the best pumpkin patch / apple orchard around. Yes, I am that girl that made him drive two and a half hours (each way) to go to this. I think I fulfilled every single #basicbitch characteristic out there, except that I didn’t have a PSL in hand. Hey, there’s always next time for that.
Today I’m sharing the outfit I wore, and stay tuned next week as I share a full tour of the farm! It was absolutely gorgeous and allowed me to check that one off my fall bucket list.
This time of year in Maryland is all about layers. When we first left the house, I was fully bundled up in this sweater. By about 1:00 I was sweating, and then around the time we shot these photos I was freezing, since we were in the shade. And they said Savannah’s indecisive weather was bad!
I paired this new fall sweater that I found at Marshall’s with this burnt orange color. Normally people would turn towards wearing a neutral underneath because of the bold print, but I figured I needed to pull out all of the stops to look good in front of the incredible back drop that I was about to be in front of. Now that I’m looking at the photos on screen, the only thing lacking is my tall boots. Those really would’ve screamed Fall.
How perfect is this backdrop though? Stay tuned next week to see photos of our trip to the farm and all the tips I picked up while I was there! P.S. – We brought home lots of goodies to create recipes with 😉
