I am constantly reading a ton of articles and blog posts about ways to achieve a happier life. Does anyone else enjoy reading these? In all honesty, they all mainly say the same things. And while I do believe a lot of them to be true, I’ve recently readjusted an aspect of my life that has made it insanely more enjoyable. Are you dying to know what it is?
I’ve learned to embrace the little things in life.

I had a sort of a wake up call recently. I started looking at Grad school. Mind you, I own three businesses. How would I have time to go to Grad school? The process overall became very stressful and full of self-doubt. A friend quickly looked at me and said, “Why do you find it necessary to go to Grad school?” This made me seriously stop and think for a minute. Up until this stage of my life, I’ve always been working to achieve that next big accomplishment. In my mind, Grad school was just that next big accomplishment that was written on my path.
Needless to say, I won’t be attending Grad school anytime soon. And to be honest, after this instance I stopped yearning towards that next thing to cross off my list. I have devoted more time to enjoy what’s right in front of me, but also not forgetting about the dreamer that lives inside of me. It really is a delicate balance but I think I’m getting closer to finding it everyday!
Speaking of the little things in life, I scored this Old Navy cardigan for only $15.99! It’s become a staple in my wardrobe, especially because it’s so versatile. I’m also obsessing over these new TAI Jewelry hoop earrings. They are just so delicate and gorgeous!
This Old Navy cardigan is reminding me of this striped duster I shared recently. Obviously long striped sweaters are giving me all of the feels lately!
P.S. The next chapter of being happier everyday is definitely learning how to deal with competition and comparison in a healthy manner. Currently working on a long post about how I deal with that!
I love every bit of this look! Your cardi, boots and oh, those earrings! Gorgeous!

Aw, thank you Katya!
Ordering that cardigan right now! Love how it looks on you and how you styled this! So classic, but so comfortable and put together!
I highly suggest, it’s the best!!
This is the CUTEST outfit. I love how simple and chic it is! And, as someone who went to grad school, DO NOT GO unless you have a clear, specific reason you need a degree! Otherwise, it is just a waste of your time and money. You’re killing it!
