At Home | My Vintage Re-Styled Bar Cart

bclcc bclcc-3 bclcc-4 bclcc-2 TGIF! Today I’m sharing with you a little nook of our living room that came together rather quickly. Before we had moved we had already bought our major furniture at IKEA, but there were little things that I knew I wanted to add that we didn’t have room for at our old space. A bar cart was a must! But have you seen their outrageous prices?! I mean the dreamy ones from Society Social are $600+ We found a local thrift/ garage sale (don’t even know how to define it, it’s basically a junk garage with hidden gems!) and went digging. I had found a prop for a store window there before so I kind of knew how it worked. This cart when we found it (for only $10!) was super dirty and originally had two side panels. The side panels were super janky and just wasted space so we decided to remove them. This Natty bucket was a piece close to home, and I have been loving swapping out fresh flowers! We also used this space to house our games, because they come in handy often when friends are over. I mean come on, who doesn’t like some Drunk Janga and Cards Against Humanity?! 😉 I am looking forward to maybe adding a little wall gallery of fun prints above the cart or maybe this piece? (The mirror is another yard sale find, waiting to be repainted and finding a new home in our guest bathroom.) It’s definitely still in the works, but I love how our little bar cart is coming together! Keep up with more home updates over on my Instagram..

Your regular outfit posts will be back next week, hope you enjoyed the first peek into our home!
