10 Uses For The Magical Argan Oil

This product has recently literally changed my life. I mean it does so much! Just for you, I’ve rounded up the top 10 uses of Argan Oil, but believe me I’ve tried so many more! In case you were wondering, this product was originally from Morocco from a tree referred to as “The Tree Of Gold.” It also said to have incredible internal healing (that I won’t get into today) when used in a culinary context.

Exfoliating Lip Scrub

If you’re in the mood to make a little DIY concoction, this can top any lip scrub I’ve purchased. Just mix 2-3 drops of argan oil with vanilla extract and brown sugar. Smells and feels amazing!

Replace your usual moisturizer with 1-2 drops and you will be able to instantly see a difference. Argan Oil has been known to help with any of the following: dry skin, oily skin, irritated/itchy skin, acne* (this is my main use for this product!), and anti-aging!

Face Mask

You can take the easy route and add 3 drops to your store bought face mask, or even make an at home au natural version with argan oil. Leave on for around 10 minutes and rinse, you will feel like a new woman!

Skin Inflammatory Reducer

Not only does it do all of the above, but it also reduces inflammatory. I use it for this reason on photoshoot days to reduce the size of my swollen jaw (need to get these wisdom teeth out, badly!).

Scar / StretchMark Reducer

Much like Bio-Oil, when applied in the morning and evening to scars/stretch marks argan oil is proven to reduce their appearance over time.

Leave-In Conditioner

My top #2 use for argan oil after for you skin would be for your hair. If you’re known to use lots of treatments and heat-damage this can save your hair from looking fried! Make sure to use when your hair is still wet to avoid looking like you could fry an egg with that dirty hair.

Hair Shine Serum

Just like a leave-in treatment, use a drop or two of the oil every morning when you get out of the shower before styling or treating your hair. It will have a healthy glow!

Cuticle Oil

After using gel polish for a long period of time my nails were SO thin. Along with my daily Biotin vitamin, I started using argan oil as a cuticle oil of sorts. It makes nails stronger and restores their natural shine! Oh, and encourages nail growth, what we all want, right?!

Cracked Heel Repair

This will be the most argan oil you use in one treatment. Massage enough to cover your heels, put on a pair of socks (that you don’t care if they get oily) and let it work its magic overnight!

Bath Oil

Last but not least, drop 4-5 drops into your bath. It will leave you with supple skin, and is safe to use on children too!
